Who we are

The Exam Room is an online mock test platform for Indian government exam aspirants, operated from India. You can reach us any time at theexamroomm@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account information — your email address and display name, provided when you sign up or sign in with Google.
• Practice data — the mock tests you start, your answers, timings, scores and result analytics, so we can show your progress and rank.
• Payment references — when you buy a test pack, our payment gateway (Razorpay) processes the transaction. We store only the order and payment identifiers and the purchase status. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank credentials.
• Technical data — device, browser and approximate region information, plus cookies and similar identifiers used to keep you signed in and to measure usage.

How we use it

• To create your account and keep you signed in.
• To deliver mock tests and generate your results, analytics and rank.
• To process purchases and unlock paid content.
• To improve question quality, difficulty balance and site performance.
• To respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

We use essential cookies for authentication and preferences (language, theme). We may also use analytics cookies to understand which pages and tests are useful.

This site may display advertising served by Google and its partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites. We rely on a small number of providers to run the platform: cloud hosting and database services for the site and your account data, Razorpay for payments, and Google for sign-in, analytics and advertising. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.

Data retention and your choices

We keep your account and attempt history for as long as your account exists, so your progress stays available. You can ask us to correct your details or delete your account and practice history by emailing theexamroomm@gmail.com. We action deletion requests within 30 days, except where we must keep payment records for accounting purposes.

Children

The platform is intended for candidates preparing for government recruitment exams and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
